Ellie Just Pulled Herself Up!

I probably should have known this would be coming since she loves to pull herself up with my help, but it really kind of blindsided me! We were playing together on the floor in Tom's and my bedroom, next to the dresser. She really likes the drawer pulls on that dresser, they are the kind that hang down and make a clattering noise when you play with them. So she was kind of yanking on it and managed to pull the drawer out about six inches or so. Then you could tell the wheels where spinning in her mind - she loves playing in the contents of our computer desk drawer, so she clearly was wondering what that dresser drawer held. She grabbed the top of the dresser drawer in her chubby little hands and pulled. She managed to pull her tush off the ground about 3-4 inches a few times, but always plopped back down. I kept encouraging her and held onto the drawer to support it and keep her from tipping over and finally she managed to pull herself up and shuffle her feet so they'd support her! Amazing...

Guess tomorrow's tasks are going to include lowering the crib mattress!
