One Week Left to Vote!

Just wanted to point out that there's only one week left of voting on our poll to the right --->

As far as I know, we won't know the sex of the baby at that point, but I needed to put some sort of cut-off date, this can't go on indefinitely ;-) As mentioned in previous blogs, Tom and I are both convinced we know what the baby is...one of us has to be right, anyway! So if there is anyone left who hasn't voted yet, please make your vote now!

I have my 20 week midwife appointment tomorrow morning (along with my three hour glucose test), and, as always, I'm really nervous! I've definitely been feeling the baby move now, but it's still really faint and pretty inconsistent. Some days I'll only feel her a few times, and others I'll feel her a lot. For example, with all the noise at the convention last weekend, she was kicking up a storm. And after the glucose test, baby was all hopped up on sugar and bouncing around. It's such a cool feeling, I can't wait until I can feel the baby all the time, hopefully within the next month.

As of today, I am officially past the halfway mark (which was yesterday), and we've begun the descent toward labor and the baby's birth. Now I've actually got checklists telling me it's time to get started on things and it's just very bizarre. Despite the movements, it still doesn't feel completely real. And sometimes it seems like October is so far away, but when I tell myself we only have just about 4 and a half months before the baby is born, that seems so close. Just under two months until we're in the last trimester!!
