I'm going to go ahead and say that mother's intuition (and the intuition of 60% of our poll-takers) must be right and that this baby is going to be a girl. We'll find out for certain soon, but since I'm generally right, I'm going to go ahead and say girl.
Anyway, baby's been doing this cool thing lately of hanging out on one side of my belly. Sometimes it just makes my belly appear lopsided, but the other day, I rubbed my hands along the side of my belly and could feel a hard, round bump - definitely a head or a little tush! So cute :) Definitely feeling more movement now, and not necessarily so faint.
*BREAKING NEWS*
I just got a call on my cell phone mid-post...I failed my one-hour glucose test. So now on Friday I have to go in early and do all my glucose testing around my midwife appointment. I'm so upset...I know a lot of women fail the one hour the pass the three hour, but it just sucks. I suppose being insulin-resistant with PCOS this shouldn't be a surprise, but I've just been so happy and healthy throughout this pregnancy, I just want baby and me to be healthy and safe. This sucks.
How far along? 20 weeks - halfway there!
Best moment this week: Date night to go see "Up" and get dinner.
What I am looking forward to: My appointment on Friday and hopefully passing the three-hour glucose test.
Weekly Wisdom: Chores are much easier to accomplish before your little one decides your pelvis is the best place to hang out.
