The model name is the Trevor and it fits my body perfectly - my feet are flat on the floor, arms are just the right height, and it's wide enough to snuggle a little body in with me when we read at night. Oh, and the rocking motion is really good, which has been a problem on a lot of the upholstered rockers we've seen in baby furniture stores. Plus, it's not too expensive!
However, there is one downside (isn't there always a downside?). This particular chair is only available at the discounted price in one fabric. We priced out another fabric with the chair and it nearly doubled the price. The fabric that it comes in really isn't that bad, though - it's neutral and seems like it'd be easy to clean. So I think ultimately, for it being such a decent price and fitting me so well, we'll just live with it and perhaps have it reupholstered after it's done serving baby duty in a few years. Our plan is to go back on the 3rd or 4th when prices may have dropped even more and bring fabric and paint swatches with us just to be sure it doesn't completely clash with Ellie's room.
But yay for finding the rocker!
