Books for Baby!

Tom and I made a quick trip out to the local thrift store yesterday. He wanted to pick up some shirts to work out in and I wanted to see what they had for baby stuff. There's actually a kids' consignment store next door, too, but apparently it's closed on Sundays, so we didn't get a chance to check that out.

They had a whole bookcase full of children and young adult books there, so I was able to snag 9 kids' books for just $3!! It was a very good deal, one of the books didn't even look like it'd been opened! Here's what we got:

They didn't have any boy ones, but I think the concept will still be sound even if the baby is a boy ;-)

We'll have to sanitize the books before we put them out - obviously they'll be going right in baby's mouth - but it's fun to get started on baby's little library...since Tom and I are big readers, I think it's only right.
