T-Minus 5 Days Til Florida!!!

I am so looking forward to the sun and the beach and most of all, the time off! It's been slow at work lately, so I've been doing a lot of busy work and haven't gotten to interact with too many employees.

We were able to get everything worked out with Joey - Matt and Linz will be spending the night at our place on Saturday, then they'll drop him off at his professional puppysitter on Sunday afternoon. It really was great of them to offer, I'm not sure how we would have gotten to the airport on time, the dogsitter doesn't wake up until 8:30am and we have to be in Baltimore around 9-9:30am.

I finished the hall bath yesterday!!! I even managed to really scrub out the tub. It definitely needed it. Now I just have to do the floor and then I can put out my pretty new rug and hand towels. Of course, I'll post pics when it's completely finished. Come to think of it, I guess I also need to post pics of our master bath re-do, huh? Guess I never got around to it. It'll be a BOGO post. I'm also 99.9% done with our bedroom, I just haven't been able to find the *perfect* bedding set yet. Maybe I'll throw in a pic of it, anyway, since that's the only thing missing.

My other big accomplishment last week/this weekend was setting up an online savings account with FNBO. They have the best rates in online banking right now and their rules are very easy to work with. No minimum to start an account, and no fees. Right now I have $5 cooking in there until I can figure out how to set up direct deposit with my paycheck. Usually you need a voided check, but they must accept some sort of document for a savings account. In the meantime, I can always just transfer the money.

So the plan for this week is to get our warm-weather clothes laundered and packed, and to deep clean the house and prepare the guest room. I think it'll be:

Monday - Upstairs
Tuesday - First floor
Wednesday - Basement
Thursday - Laundry
Friday - Pack

I really hate cleaning the upstairs, I think because it has two bathrooms :) I also need to pick up all our tax documents I have spread out all over the place. And actually, send out our returns, too.
