Some Minor Updates

1. Thanksgiving was great this year...we spent it over at our neighbors' house. Yum yum food, but not enough leftovers. Although, I never think there are enough leftovers. 
2. Christmas is well underway here. We're almost all decorated, I need to buy a few more items for the kitchen and I need to figure out how to organize all the cords for my Christmas Village in the hutch.
3. I bought a camera! I've been wanting a new "big girl" camera since forever and finally decided to just pull the trigger and buy one. It should be here by Friday and I'm so excited to start learning how to use it to capture Ellie growing up. 
4. We're also getting professional family photos on Thursday. Abby posted a great deal and after checking it out, I decided to buy a package, too! So far the service has been OK - I did ask for a list of locations and was told I'd be emailed one in a few days, but haven't heard back yet. I just sent a follow-up email. It looks like we should have good weather, though it'll be a little chilly. Still have to pick out our outfits!
5. Looking forward to seeing family this holiday! My family will (hopefully) be coming for a few days right after Christmas and we'll be going down to see Tom's family in Florida in January, with the possibility of a side trip down to my grandparents' place in North Carolina (we're still not sure if we're flying or driving to FL).
