Kite Festival

On Saturday afternoon, we met up with Matt and Lindsey to enjoy the sun and head out to the Mall for the Smithsonian's annual kite festival. It was a great day for it, just a little chilly but plenty of wind to keep the kites flying. We had a great picnic lunch and enjoyed watching all the people and kites that came out for the event.

We all liked this huge dragonfly kite

There were so many kites up in the air, and all of them facing the same direction. It was very cool.

Tom and Matt are BFF. It was fun teasing Matt about his picnic basket hehehe. Also, hanging out with Matt and Lindsey always reminds me of how SHORT Tom and I are.
