Every day I have to come in to work, it gets just a little harder to be here. Especially since getting the whole "we're cutting you down to 32 hours a week" speech a few days ago. So I'm just very grateful the weekend is finally here and I can start working on my final "pre-baby to-do list". That's one long list. Nesting has definitely kicked in and I just want to organize/clean/prepare everything. Like, yesterday.
I'm also getting close to the finish line with her nursery. It won't be completely finished until after Mom and Dad visit with her dresser over Labor Day weekend, but we're definitely getting there! I finally finished sewing up the last little birdie for her mobile and now I'm on the hunt for the perfect sticks to put it all together.
This weekend should be pretty low-key. We're planning to go for a swim in the community pool tonight, though we'll see if that actually ends up happening. Can you believe we've lived there for two summers and have yet to use the pool? My midwife keeps telling me I should swim, though, since it's such good exercise and good for swelling. Then on Saturday we'll be going over to Tom's friend's house for dinner with him and his wife. Tom also said he'd take me to see the Johnny Depp movie. Johnny Depp as a mobster can never be bad. Other than that stuff, it's just chipping away at that to-do list! Oh, and my 28 week appointment is exactly one week from today! Can you believe I'm 28 weeks already???
