Tommy and I were really looking forward to this Halloween because it's our first in our new house and we figured since there are so many kids in our neighborhood, we'd get a ton of trick-or-treaters. Especially after we pulled into the community behind a schoolbus in the afternoon that dropped off all of the kids inside to our community.
But, we were wrong! We ended up with two soloists and one bigger group. And that was it! And the crazy thing is that the first boy who came by had his mom trick-or-treating with him! She actually had a bag and put her arm around the door so I couldn't really close it before she took her arm away, so I just gave her some candy. Isn't that weird???
We did have Adam and Andrea over to visit, though, so we still had a good time. Matt and Lindsey were also supposed to come over, but they found out that afternoon that they'd been approved to adopt a dog so they went to pick her up instead. We're really looking forward to meeting her and I hope she and Joey will be good friends!

haha very cute- love the new background! We actually had a good haul this year, so many kids are moving in to this neighborhood- used to be just all old folks and then us lol.
We had zero trick-or-treaters this year. We left our house a little after 7pm to go to a party and we hadn't even had one. Bummer, I like seeing all the cute costumes.
Oh, and yes, the mom trick-or-treating is weird.
