Life has been CRAZY this week. Tom was scheduled to go on a week-long trip out to San Diego, CA for work this week, and Ellie and I were going to head up to CT to stay with family while he was gone. Then, at the last minute, his trip was cancelled due to lack of funding and Ellie and I were going to stay home with them. Then we had another eleventh hour change of heart and decided to come up anyway, so now here we are!
The trip up wasn't too bad, Ellie was a bit fussy on the second leg and we did have to stop twice to feed and change her, but overall she was a good baby and slept for most of the drive. On Sunday morning, Ellie and I headed out to the flea market with my parents to walk around and get some fresh air and sunshine. We ended up buying a nice political button to add to Tom's collection and a pack of wipes. Then we headed back to my parents' house to visit with my grandmother and her boyfriend and let them meet Eleanor. On Monday, Mom and I went out to Babies 'R' Us and picked up a Pack 'N' Play that was on sale and a few more long-sleeved onesies. I also managed to find a swimsuit on clearance for her to wear when we head to Florida in April. Today we're just hanging out at the Skypeks' house. Hopefully I'll be able to get a nap in, because last night was just horrific. She was up about every 30 minutes from 11-2:30, then again from 4:30-6:30. Then we were up for the day. Ugh. The night before that was great, too. Oh, well.
I have a TON of new photos to share, but I left my camera cord at home, so I'll post them once we're back in VA.
