Father's Day Weekend
Was so nice! It was really great to have Tom back home after all his traveling in the past few weeks. On Saturday, we spent some time with Matt and Lindsey and their friend, Daisy, since they'll be moving back to Michigan soon. We are really going to miss them :( Sunday turned out to be really nice, too - Ellie and I gave Tom his Father's Day gift (a framed photo of her), we went to church as a family, and I cooked the meal Tom requested (beef wellington, roasted potatoes, asparagus, and a peach pie for dessert). I didn't get any photos from Sunday, but I did get a few on Saturday. Ellie's been going through a rough phase lately of being hard to put to bed, and the past two or three nights, she's gotten up in the middle of the night as well. We've been sticking with a kind-of Ferber-type sleep training and it seems to work about as well as anything else. I also just got the news that I passed my glucose test - yay! In my pregnancy with Ellie, they were still doing one-hour screenings, and I failed my first one-hour at 16 weeks, so they made me do a three-hour then, plus another three-hour around this time in my pregnancy, and a third later on because that middle one came back borderline. This time around, I still had to do an early test, but I've only done two two-hour tests and I'm done, so I'm very much a happy camper! Next up: appointment on the 28th with the OB who did my C-section to check on it and make sure I'm a good candidate for a VBAC!
