Eleanor Smiled at Me!

Of course I didn't have my camera handy and she didn't repeat it, but she definitely did it! She really likes to take baths, so I decided tonight that I'd put the tub in our room and let her play in it a really long time. At first I was just scrubbing her up like normal, but soon she was clean so we were just playing and splashing and I was chatting with her. Then she looked right up at me and gave me the sweetest little grin I've ever seen. It was absolutely stunning. I spent the next ten minutes or so trying to get her to do it again, but then the water got cold, so I had to give up. It's been such a long time coming, though, even for her adjusted age most babies would have already been smiling by now. It was just amazing to have her smile up at me and she has the most beautiful little smile I've ever seen. I can't wait to catch it on camera!
