I'm an Awful Blogger :-S

Oh well! My apologies for the lack of new and exciting posts, but there has been precious little lately that is new and exciting to report. Let me see, what's happened since Monday?

Not much...worked Tuesday through Friday. I've been playing the Wii a lot, I'm trying to get to the pro level on the tennis game...I'm about halfway there. And one night, I played 3 holes of golf on the Wii and get this - I chipped in a shot from the rough for a birdie!!!! If you don't play golf, you probably have no idea what that means, but just trust me when I say it's pretty good :) Now if I could only do that in real life.....

I've had very limited connectivity this week at home, too. Due to some very strange circumstances, we have 3 laptops and one desktop in our possession and none of them are working. Right now I'm typing from Tom's old laptop using the desktop monitor. At least it's functional, anyway.

I've also misplaced my camera cord. I have no clue where it is. So, Audrey, I'm very sorry, I'll get those NYC photos up as soon as I locate the cord.

Last night we went to see Gran Turino. Clint Eastwood is pretty much the only person on the planet who could pull off that role. The language and subject matter was a little rough, but don't listen to those critics who are all freaked out about the racism - it's nothing you haven't heard if you grew up with a grandparent of that generation.

Tonight, Tom and I are going on a date. We're going to go see Paul Blart, Mall Cop!! I'm excited, it looks like it'll be really funny. Then I think we're going to go get Indian food for dinner. Not my favorite, but Tom's on a diet, so we're pretty limited. Plus, he loves it.

So that's all. We've got a four-day weekend here in the DC metro due to the inaugration. They've pretty much told us to stockpile our groceries and go nowhere until after Tuesday because traffic will be so bad. So we'll be "working" from home. I hope to get the hall bathroom all painted this weekend, which will just leave me with finishing up the details/refreshing the paint in each room.
