Full Term Belly + Today's Appt Update

And today's update is....nothing. I had my appointment this morning, but nothing's really going on yet, despite having some relatively steady contractions while Hurricane Irene was in town. I haven't had any more contractions since Monday night and now I'm starting to feel like it's fully possible that my body will misbehave once again and we'll have to go in for a second C-section on my due date. But, if that's what happens, it's fine with me, it would definitely be nice to not have to rush around getting Ellie and Joey to babysitters, having Tom's parents come down last-minute, etc. If we make it to September 13, the plan is to have his parents come down then, then we'll have all day on the 14th, then I'll go in for the surgery on the morning of the 15th (I believe I have to be there at 9am or so). Plus, I can handle a repeat C-section, I already know the drill and I know what to expect. And I'm happy letting this baby stay inside just as long as she wants to, since her big sister didn't get that luxury. I'm certainly uncomfortable, but I'm also enjoying our time as a family of three and I know I won't get this time of being pregnant with no. 2 back, so I'm OK just playing wait and see for the next two weeks. At any rate, the little one will be joining us sometime in the next 15 days!
