Bragging on my Family

I generally think things like this are totally tacky, but this is my blog and I can write whatever I want and I'm super proud of my two buddies, so if you don't want to hear me brag on them, come back another day :) Plus I'm pretty sure the people who read this most often are my parents and Tom's, and I know they like to hear it haha.

Tom - I really see him flourishing in his new position with all his new responsibilities. I knew he'd make a fantastic boss, and clearly I was right. He just received an award for his work on a previous team, and I see great things coming to him in his career. He's a hard worker and never stops trying to make the best moves for our family. I can't wait to see where all his hard work takes us.

Ellie - She has really grown into such a sweet little girl. She's sharp as a tack - this morning she walked up to the DVD player and started signing and saying "Baby". She wanted me to put in her "Baby Signing Time" DVD! She's also so friendly. She has a smile for everyone she meets and often a hug, too. At our playgroup meetup last week, she met Ben and his mom, Beth. She loved Beth right away and today when we met up at the Chantilly Tiny Tot Concert, she reached over to her and sat on her lap for a good 15 minutes. I pray my sweet girl stays forever, especially with the "terrible two's" looming. Also, her favorite food is peas. Yeah, peas, straight from the can.
